The development of Garmont footwear has a clear objective: to offer maximum comfort and the best possible performance. For this reason, we have created a specific fit for women, adapting the last and the lasting board to suit the different needs of each model.
The male and female foot have specific anatomical and biomechanical differences. Generally, the female foot is smaller, with a slimmer structure and more tapered toes. The sole is often narrower and the arch of the foot more pronounced. In addition, the muscles of the female foot are less dense, while the joints are more flexible. Women also tend to walk with a shorter stride, distributing their weight more on the front part of the foot.
Aware of these peculiarities, we have set up a dedicated research area to ensure that our women's outdoor footwear best meets the needs of every foot.
