RIFUGIO DE DOO
In the heart of Val Comelico, โnestledโ between South Tyrol, Austria and Friuli, there is a โGreenโ refuge called De Doo, which in the Ladin language means โDi Zovoโ.
A distinctive feature of the refuge is that it was built using local timber and is a cutting-edge building because it uses many of the renewable energies available on the market such as: solar panels, wood-fired boiler, rainwater recovery system, and LED lights with sensors for automatic shut-off. For this very reason, we define it as a โGREENโ refuge. The refuge is therefore completely environmentally sustainable and, to complete the project, it also includes the use of high-quality materials such as sheets and towels made of wood fiber.
The refuge offers free WI-FI service and, for the most demanding customers, many rooms have been equipped with a large external terrace with independent access where you can admire the breathtaking view of the Dolomites or, at night, be enchanted by a magnificent starry sky.
