TREEDOM
Treedom is the only web platform in the world that allows you to plant a tree remotely and follow it online. Each Treedom tree has an online page, is geolocated and photographed, and can be kept or given as a virtual gift to others. Since its foundation in Florence in 2010, Treedom has planted more than 1 million trees in Africa, Latin America, Asia and Italy. All trees are planted directly by local farmers and contribute to environmental, social and economic benefits.
The collaboration between Garmont and Treedom stems from a shared philosophy of contributing to the creation of sustainable ecosystems and enabling thousands of farmers to meet the initial costs of planting new trees, guaranteeing them food autonomy and income opportunities over time.
On Earth Day 2021, Garmont decided to plant its first forest as a small contribution to improving our planet.
