WHITE AND BLUE MOUNTAIN GUIDES
EDOARDO MONTORSI
If there’s one thing I love, it’s escaping the frenzy of everyday life to embark on all kinds of adventures surrounded by nature.
Since I first discovered climbing, I immediately knew this could be my path: sharing my passion by guiding people through rock, snow, and ice — my lifelong companions.
The mountains have become my most familiar environment because they can offer unique emotions. What could be better than having your office in a place like this?
ALBERTO MONTORSI
Born in 1977. I’m a passionate mountaineer — the mountains have changed my life, and now they are my life. Being a mountain guide has been my profession since 2010.
It has two aspects: guiding and teaching.
I love teaching — every time I teach, I learn something new. That’s why I’ve developed a strong interest in improving constantly.
With the right method, you learn better, faster, and with deeper understanding.
It’s a true pleasure to guide people into my world and let them live an extraordinary experience. In those moments, a deep bond forms within the rope team — intense moments that last a lifetime.
GIAMPAOLO BETTA
If you ask me to guide you, I’ll try to offer unconventional routes, far from the crowds and chaos of tourist trails — intense journeys where you can savor the joy of every step toward the summit.
I trained on the Alps, exploring them lengthwise and crosswise in every season, chasing the most famous and feared routes and descents.
Later, I brought this experience to the Apuan Alps — small but demanding mountains close to home. I’ve dedicated many seasons, especially winter ones, to exploring every corner in search of new climbs and ski descents.
A deep knowledge of the terrain is, fortunately, an endless source of exploration ideas — even more than total ignorance.
The curiosity for the unknown, or for what has been forgotten, still draws me to the most hidden corners of these strange mountains. So it’s not easy to bump into me out there...
FILIPPO PRECETTI
The most fascinating part of my work is the emotion I feel when I manage to share with others what mountaineering and mountain life can give — sensations, inspiration, awareness, and a deep connection with nature.
By learning to move through natural environments — sometimes extreme ones — you also learn more about yourself. Understanding the environment around you is like understanding the person sitting next to you.
I’ve traveled across the Alps from east to west, with forays into South America and Norway — without forgetting my home mountains, the Apuan Alps, which I hold dear as if they were family.
What do I love most? Everything the mountains make you feel: climbing on rock, ice, or mixed terrain, skiing off-piste — all activities that awaken the senses.
Living the mountains is a lifestyle — essential, pure, and pragmatic.
Climbing up and down a mountain may seem like a pointless effort, but to me, it’s pure fuel for the soul.
SILVIA CANOVI
I love nature and all the activities connected to it. I’ve been exploring the mountains for over 20 years, and I have a special weakness for snowy environments!
Being a hiking guide is an integral part of my life — it allows me to share what I love most and to pass on my passion for nature and adventure in all its forms, from the sea to the mountains!
Since I was young, I’ve had a deep love for travel, exploring fascinating places like India, Nepal, Bolivia, and many more. These experiences opened my eyes to different cultures and extraordinary landscapes. Through mountain sports, I discovered a new way of living the mountains — learning to respect and appreciate nature (my greatest love is ski touring).
Today I live in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, where I feel connected every day to an authentic, untouched environment. My motto: feel moved. Every journey, trail, and summit is a chance to rediscover the world’s beauty and nurture my adventurous spirit.
Freedom is the ability to choose your own path and express yourself without fear.
ERIC COSTERI
Born in 1983, I’ve always been curious. Since childhood, I’ve loved nature and exploration. I have a scientific background, with a degree in Earth Sciences, and a passion for Biology, Astronomy, and Archaeology.
My goal is to guide people through the land — whether it’s an ancient village, a snowy forest, or a marine environment — offering enriching experiences that foster a deeper, more conscious relationship with nature.
Every place has its own story, fragility, and beauty. Learning to understand and respect them is essential to making a positive contribution to our planet.
During years of hiking and trekking across mountain and coastal environments — from the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines to the Sardinian coasts — I’ve witnessed countless natural wonders.
As an environmental hiking guide, I’ve learned to interpret nature — understanding the difference between seeing and observing — and I try to share that awareness with others, never stopping my own learning or curiosity about the world around us.
I believe that every immersive experience in nature can spark a new understanding of the world, helping people reconnect with the Earth and develop a deep sense of responsibility toward the planet.
